Description:	Come join us to sing fun holiday songs in four-part a cappella harmony at events in the community! Open to all ages and genders, and there is no cost to participate. Rehearsals will be each Tuesday at 6:30 pm, starting October 3, at Summit Vista Retirement Center in Taylorsville. Stop at the entrance gate/booth for a guest pass (just tell the attendant you are there for chorus rehearsal). There is guest parking to the right and left of the main doors. Come inside and turn left to find the wellness room (yoga studio). Music and learning tracks will be provided. We will be learning about 8 songs. Performances will be posted on this website as they are confirmed. In past years, we have sung at the Festival of Trees, community tree-lighting events, Gardner Village, City Creek, private and church parties, etc. If you are new to the barbershop style, someone will help you find the right voice part to sing. Lead is the melody, generally in the alto voice range. Tenor is a harmony part above the melody (soprano range). Baritone is also a harmony part, usually interwoven around the melody. Bass is a harmony part in the low alto/tenor range, the foundation of the chords.
